By Dave Graybill

Memorial Weekend is often the busiest of the year for fishing and boating on the lakes in our region. I hope you have planned ahead and have made reservations at your favorite campground or resort. I usually stay home during this Holiday but may be on the water this year after all. One of things I always is enjoy is introducing people to bass fishing. I am going to get that opportunity this week. On Friday my fishing buddy Brian Anantatmula is going to meet me in Moses Lake. I had a great trip there recently catching smallmouth and largemouth bass and I hope I have similar luck with him. I will launch the Smoker Craft from Peninsula Park and run over to Goat Island. I will work the shoreline with the Minn Kota and cast plastics to the shallows. On Sunday I will meet Christine Lee, from Bob Feil Boats and Motors, and her mother Brenda at Banks Lake. When Brenda visits from Alberta, Canada, I always take them fishing somewhere. I have taken them sockeye fishing on Lake Wenatchee and kokanee fishing on Lake Chelan. This will be their first bass fishing trip ever
