Many of you may recall that over 20 years ago I was writing a column for the Wenatchee World. When they dropped my column a person at the Nickle Ads read some complaints in the Wenatchee World and called to ask if I would like to provide a column for them. The Nickle Ads papers were widely distributed throughout Eastern Washington, and I was thrilled to be able to share my fishing experiences with their readers. I did this for several years, until this paper ceased publishing. Soon after, I got a call from the Spokane Exchange in Spokane. They said that when they were filling the newsstands people were asking where they could find the paper that published the column by Dave Graybill. The Spokane Exchange had editions in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. So, I began providing them a weekly column. I just learned that the Spokane Exchange had closed its doors, and the last issue is for the week of October 29th through November 4th. I want to thank everyone for their kind comments via email or in person for their appreciation for what I shared over the six years I was in print in the Exchange.
