By Dave Graybill

There was a tremendous amount of interest in the post I made on the trip I had with Nate Stull on Banks Lake. It was a great day, and I did a video of our day on the water. Nate shared a lot of detail about how he fishes for walleye in the fall, and the way he fishes for them. I think you will learn from the video, which I why I make them. You can find the video on the Dave Graybill YouTube channel. I also had a terrific trip to Buffalo Lake, and I know a many people are interested in this Colville Reservation Lake. It’s only about ten miles from the town of Grand Coulee but gets very little pressure. I think part of the reason is the permits and licenses required to fish here, and I understand. I have been getting these permits and licenses for years, as I fish Omak Lake and other waters on the reservation. Keep in mind that the kokanee we were catching were getting close to the spawning time, so you should plan your trip to Buffalo Lake next year. Kokanee fishing should be good in the spring, too.
