By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. If you're like us, you don't use your garage to put cars inside. The biggest reason is because there's no room for a car, or much else for that matter. Marion and I moved into our house a little over a year and a half ago, and the garage became a resting place for the things we didn't have space for inside. Basically, it was a bunch of stuff we had both carted around in our own lives for years and now brought it all together in one, stacked, space. We have spent the last six months seriously trying to whittle down the boxes, donating a ton and just throwing other stuff away. Our game plan was simple: if you haven't used it in the last three years, it's got to go. Of course, that's easier said than done, especially when it comes to keepsakes. I had taken a wire shoe rack and used it as a rod storing device for most of my fishing poles. The problem is that it was taking up too much floor space. That's when Marion came to me with an idea she found Pinterest. More on that Thursday. Until next time, Good Fishing!
