By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It looks much easier than it is. There have been fewer more true statements. Such is especially the case when it comes to fishing. Watch it on TV or YouTube or on Facebook, and you see a guy flip a lure onto a lake, reel a couple times and WHAM, FISH ON! Anyone who's been fishing, knows it all starts long before that, usually in the garage on a workbench, neck aching at looking down through cheater glasses as you tie one knot after another. Then there's the bait preparation. Then the tackle box assembly for whatever you're after the next day. Then there's the rod role call to make sure you have all you'll need for the water the next day. Oh, and don't forget you'll need fuel in the boat, your Discover Pass, and food and drink for yourself and whomever might be tagging along. Then there's launching, parking, boarding, saying a little prayer as you start the motor and head out. Then you have to FIND the fish! And, once you find them, who knows if they'll bite? Yeah, it looks much easier than it is. Until next time, Good Fishing!
