By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Now that we have the boat back and it's running, Marion is asking me where we're going next. She mentioned going down to the Hanford Reach and trying for a big King salmon. I said that's certainly an option. Although taking my 20-foot Reinell down to the rocky launch there above Vernita and bouncing off the rocks with that fiberglass is not my first choice of things to do with a 40 year old boat. I tossed out the possibility of going up to Banks Lake and seeing if we could find some walleye. Then, I had lunch with Graybill yesterday and he suggested trying Fish Lake for some fall trout but that also he'd been getting reports of there being too many large mouth bass in Fish Lake. Really? That's the first I've heard of large mouth in Fish Lake! Of course, we're also planning a trip to Winthrop for the modern firearm deer season opening next weekend. Oh decisions, decisions! Then it dawned on me. How lucky are we to live in such a bountiful place to have all these options to choose from to being with?! What a great place to live! Until next time, Good Fishing!
