For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. After bringing my boat home from Lake Wenatchee Sunday and tucking it in the shop, I quietly wondered when I'd get it out again. Fall begins today for me. I'll be headed over the pass to produce the Seahawks Radio Network as Seattle hosts Minnesota in its first preseason game. While there's plenty of hot weather still in store for the rest of August, I can't help but think ahead to the rest of my fall schedule with calling football, volleyball and girls soccer games on our local TV station, NCWLIFE Channel. I'm also thinking ahead about the upcoming archery elk and deer seasons and when I'm going to wedge time in the woods into my busy schedule. Yes, the have-to's are going to start outweighing the want-to's very soon. Heck, the wife and I were at Costco last night and they have Halloween costumes and Christmas decorations already on sale. Fall also means the return of a productive salmon fishery in the lower Columbia. It means hover fishing off the mouth of the Klickitat or trolling for Kings near Hood River. Fall is my favorite time of year. Until next time, Good Fishing!
