For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. While in Cabo San Lucas last week, I really wanted to go fishing. I struck up a conversation with a Jim from Pittsburgh around the swimming pool one day, who had been out the day before. He said it was "awesome" and that he'd caught 15 Dorado aboard the "1st Catch" with captain Valentino. I scurried back to the room and jumped on my phone and found a number for Valentino and gave him a call. He said he had an opening for Thursday morning, and it would cost $200 American for the trip. I told him I'd talked to Jim, and he said, "Ah sí, Yim!" I talked to Marion about it and she reminded me we'd already charted a glass-bottomed boat trip to Lover's Beach. I called Valentino back and told him I had a conflict and couldn't go and he understood. I got back down to the pool and talked more with Jim, and he said it was a headache to try to get the fish home. The resort offered to cook up his catch but couldn't store it. I'd suggest doing your homework if you plan to get your catch home. Until next time, Good Fishing!
