For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. If you're hearing this report on radio today, my words won't do justice to the image that I posted on our Facebook page. My wife snapped it while we were trying to fish on a windy day at Banks Lake last weekend. As she drove the boat slowly through the sloppy waves, I readied our gear. This meant attaching the bottom walkers to our four rods, affixing the lures to the bottom walkers, and sliding nightcrawlers onto the Slow Death hooks. I had all four rods ready to go and then grabbed the wheel to get us where I wanted to fish. It couldn't have been five minutes. I deployed the bowmount and returned to the stern to let the gear out. I got the front, port-side rod out and grabbed the stern rod, only to find the line snagged. The damn worm, which a hook skewered through it, wiggled off the back shelf of my boat, beneath the battery compartment door and into the bilge, beneath the batteries. 10-minutes later, I finally had it overboard. To battle the wind is one thing, but a wiggling worm is something else. Until next time, Good Fishing!
