By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It seems I've been gallivanting around the world lately, chasing the Seahawks and taking a quick respite to the west side last weekend. Yet, I'll be heading west again this weekend, dragging the boat with me as Marion and I try to get one more crabbing trip in before fall. But with September here, we have to trade in our catch report cards and get the fall cards instead. I received a friendly reminder from the Department of Fish and Wildlife that I'll face a $10 fine if I don't report my card. But I see, unlike the past...or maybe I just missed it in the past...there's the availability of reporting my crab catch on-line. FINALLY! I've been asking for this for a while because of the delay between seasons, I can barely keep track of my head let alone my catch record card for crab, especially since it's something I don't do all the time. I heard the crabbing has been just OK, so I'll see first person this weekend. My hope is to get Dad out on the water and a mental break from caring for Mom too. Until next time, Good Fishing!
