As many of you may know the annual Trout Derby on Burke Lake has been moved to March 24th this year. This annual event is enjoyed by spring trout enthusiasts from all over the state, and having it later in the season should assure great weather for those who attend. This year the prize for the longest trout turned into derby headquarters will be a guided trip for four people for kokanee on Lake Chelan, provided by Washington Guide Services. The four other longest fish turned in will receive $100.00 each. There will be a boat up for grabs at the derby this year. It will be a 12-foot Smokercraft Canadian, from Bob Feil Boats and Motors and will include a trolling motor and trailer. The first place prize in the Youth Division will be $50.00 and the prize for second and third place will be $25.00 each. You can get all the rules, entry forms and other information by visiting my web site at FishingMagician.com and clicking on the Something Fishy in Quincy banner on the Home Page. This is always a very well-organized and fun event that I always attend. I hope to see you there!
