By Dave Graybill

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. The winter sports show season is near with Puyallup being a popular destination next week. Dave will tell you more about the Washington Sportsmen's Show on Monday. My weekend just got a lot brighter, no matter what the weather chooses to do. After my beloved asked for a fishing rod the other night for an art project, she asked, "why don't we go fishing?" Again, I thought I was hearing things. "Excuse me?!" I asked. She said, "you keep complaining about not getting out to do any fishing. So, let's go!" I still thought my ears weren't working quite right, but quickly engaged in the conversation about how I don't have my boat here and the weather's supposed to be snowy, etcetera, etcetera. She said, "let's go fish off the bank somewhere and camp!" I said, "camp?! This time of year?!" After checking her cup to make sure she hadn't been day drinking, we made a plan to go fish and camp at Rufus Woods Reservoir. I've heard of some pretty big rainbow being pulled out of there along the bank, so why not? A full report will come on Tuesday. Until next time, Good Fishing!
