The biggest sport show in the state is coming up this week. The Washington State Sportsmen’s Show—and Sportfishing Boat Show starts on Wednesday the 24th. This is the 31st year for the show that draws sportsmen from all over the state. The “miles of aisles” of guide services, destination resorts and products is the main attraction. This is where many plan and book their trips for the coming year. Others take advantage of many bargains offered during the show. There are over 40 hours of seminars scheduled at this year’s show, where people can hone their outdoor skills. The Indoor River is where you can actually see big fish hooked by seminar presenters, and the kids love the Trout Pond, where they get to catch rainbow trout. New to the show this year is the Bi-Mart Kokanee Tank, presented by the locally-owned Mack’s Lure tackle company. I love this one, for the chance it gives me to see so many friends. Also starting this week is the Seattle Boat Show. I will be there this year presenting seminars on fishing opportunities over here in Central Washington. Check the web sites for both of these shows for more details and even seminar schedules.
