For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It was about a year ago Marion and I accepted an invitation to go fishing to a new spot on Lake Roosevelt. Now, considering this lake is 150-miles long and includes over 630-miles of shoreline, it's not hard to find a "new place" to fish. My Dad and his fiancé were meeting her daughter in the Lincoln area to fish from shore for rainbow trout. Marion and I arrived late Saturday and toasted the upcoming nuptials between Dad and Carol. The next morning, Marion and I were ready to go but Dad and Carol were lagging behind, so I said we'd save them a spot on the beach. A short drive later, we were lugging lawn chairs and firewood up the shoreline to what looked like a good spot. We spread out a little and had lines in the water in short order. Marion kept making pack trips back and forth to the camper while I was on pole watch. A few other anglers walked by and found spots up the beach. Dad and Carol finally showed up an hour later. Was it bad that we saved them a spot? Until next time, Good Fishing!
