For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Hopefully, everyone has had a chance to get out, breath some fresh air, and feel that exhilarating tug at the end of your line indicating a "Fish On!" I often wonder why we so often take something for granted, until is is gone. Fishing in our state was closed for nearly two months. It wasn't until it was gone and I was told I couldn't do it that I realized how much I missed it. When my daughter Gracie was little, she had shelves full of toys and stuffed animals. Like any kid, it was always a battle to get her to pick up her toys and put them away when she was done playing with them. I finally had to threaten to sack all of them up and put them in the garbage. I actually did fill a huge lawn and leaf bag full of stuffed animals once and took them out to the garage. She cried and cried and promised to take care of them if she could have them back. Once returned, she took better care of them, for a while. I wonder how long we'll cherish the ability to fish? Until next time, Good Fishing!
