By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. First, I congratulate Molly Linville on her selection to the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission. Linville is a cattle rancher out of Douglas County, a member of the Washington Cattlemen’s Association, and grew up hunting and fishing in Washington. For four years, Linville has been active on the WDFW Wolf Advisory Group. Linville is also a former wildlife biologist with experience working on federally threatened and endangered wildlife species issues. Linville joins Dave Graybill as representation from our region on the State's Advisory Commission on all things Fish and Wildlife. Linville runs the KV Ranch out in Palisades. Best of luck Molly! Next up, it's time to go fishing again! I haven't been out since my overnight adventure with Marion fishing Kings off of Chelan Falls. I'll be going up again Monday to take some King Salmon newbies, and by the look of the dam counts, there's still plenty of fish around to hopefully coax into biting what I throw overboard. According to the Corp of Engineers website, we're averaging over 500 Summer Chinook a day over Rocky Reach Dam. Just search dam fish count and you'll find it. Until next time, Good Fishing!
