For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Snow is in the forecast and winter's grip will soon be upon us. Back in the day, this is the time I'd dive into my Cabela's catalog and start making my Christmas wish list. I'd usually have about 20-pages dogeared with the latest lures, rods, reels and fish finders I'd be hoping "Santa" would put under the tree. Course, nowadays, I have to be my own Santa Claus when it comes to fulfilling my wish list. But that's OK. As long as my secret Santa doesn't whisper to my wife about how much these items cost, er, take the "elves" to build. Even though December begins tomorrow, I'm still hearing rumblings of periodic good catches of kokanee on Lake Chelan. Dave and I have been talking about trying to fish Lake Roosevelt, but I think that's more wishful thinking right now too. Most of the clear-thinking anglers who frequent "Rosie" during the winter months don't even try until after the New Year. It reminded me of a trip Dave and I took with Shane Magnuson in January about 9-years ago. You can see the video on our YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVglacSoR4w). Until next time, Good Fishing!
