For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. B.O.A.T. The acronym Break Out Another Thousand. My sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law were in town over the weekend to help with some projects around the house. We'll be hosting their wedding in late August and they wanted to put in some sweat equity. After kicking booty on Saturday, we went golfing Sunday morning and then on a cruise on our boat Sunday evening. We live 5-minutes away from a boat launch on the Columbia River in East Wenatchee, which is extremely convenient. Cruising up the river, both Tim and Sonja lamented on how they didn't want to go home to Western Washington. We dogged the motor downstream from Rocky Reach Dam and let the water's flow carry us as we drifted, talked and ate chicken. At certain points, the river has a tendency to push you towards the shoreline, so you have to fire the motor up and move back out into the center channel. On the second go-around with this, the main motor didn't want to start. I pumped up the ball, got it running, but then it wouldn't keep running. I'm hoping it's a cracked fuel bulb or pump. B.O.A.T. Until next time, Good Fishing!
