For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Cohen Stentz attends Eastmont and Easton Clark Hanford High Schools. They've qualified to compete in the Strike King Bassmaster High School Championship. In late May, the duo competed in the Washington State High School Bass Fishing Tournament in the Tri-Cities. They battled 20-mile per hour winds and waves up to 4-feet. With only two fish onboard, they tried one last gasp in the final 15-minutes before weigh-in and caught three fish, culling two and placing 2nd for the day. Their cumulative effort over the season resulted in a Washington State High School Bass Fishing Championship. The boys now have a chance to compete for the National Championship on Lake Heartwell in South Carolina. The Championship will take place July 27th through the 29th. There's a fundraiser set up to help Cohen and Easton reach nationals online at GoFund.me (https://gofund.me/b4169385). Their goal is to raise $3,500 to help with the effort. So far, they've raised $1,520. If you go to our Facebook page, you can see photos of the boys and find the direct link to their fundraiser. Love seeing youngsters involved in fishing. Help if you can. Until next time, Good Fishing!
