For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. Last week, I told you that my Dad would be doing some bank fishing from Lake Roosevelt and I'd have a report this week. When my wife read that, she responded with "how come we're not going too?" Before I knew what was happening, I'm behind the wheel of our truck and camper and driving two hours north to a place I'd never been. Yes, my wife Marion is always up for a new adventure. We arrived at the campground after nightfall and found a spot right next to Dad's trailer. He was there with his new girlfriend to meet her daughter for her 50th birthday. The time change gave us a nice extra hour of sleep before we drove a short distance to the water's edge to find our fishing spot. We had local knowledge of a spot in a cove near a newly-positioned net pen that had been producing nice rainbow from the beach, using Power Bait fishing bottom-up with a slip sinker. It didn't take long for a squad of fish to move through our gear and we had three in the cooler. Watch the video of our adventure on Facebook. Until next time, Good Fishing!
