For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. October came and went in a blink of an eye and before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here. I'm already seeing Christmas commercials everywhere on TV. By the way, if you're one to head out to a Christmas tree lot you may be in for a surprise this year. Apparently the drought has created a world-wide shortage on Christmas trees and many large suppliers won't be able to fulfill shipments. I read where the annual Exchange Club tree lot in Wenatchee at Morris Park won't happen this year. You might want to hit the Forest Service up for that $5 permit for a tree pretty soon. Meanwhile, November seems to be a lost month for fishing. Not sure why. Maybe it's the chilling temperatures of winter that keep anglers at bey. I know Chelan is producing kokanee and I'm hearing the bite for triploids and walleye on Lake Roosevelt is getting better by the day. In fact, my Dad will be fishing Roosevelt from shore this coming weekend so I'll have a report next week for you. I'm fighting the urge to winterize my boat and store it for the season. Until next time, Good Fishing!
