For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. As the world slowly gets back to "normal", I see many of you returning to the great outdoors. That means a full-fledged three-day weekend coming up will be an opportunity not to be missed. Marion and I thankfully have tons of choices of what to do for our Memorial Day Weekend. We have a standing invite from our friends in Western Washington to camp on their property not far from Matlock. It's a great time along the Satsop River, but it's also quite a drive from our home in East Wenatchee. A few years ago, Marion and I took my old Reinell up to Lake Roosevelt for the three day weekend and fished and camped out of the boat. That was a kick in the pants and we're seriously considering doing that again. We launched at Seven Bays and ran not far from there, sleeping in the boat on anchor and catching walleye. The great part about Lake Roosevelt is the fact you can get away from other people. With a 150-mile reservoir, there's plenty of places to get lost. And, I think we could all use a little getting lost to find each other. Until next time, Good Fishing!
