I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day, and maybe have plans to get out on the water while family and friends are in town. Lake Chelan and kokanee fishing would be a good choice. Looking down the road a bit, I wanted to let everyone know that I have scheduled a free seminar at Town Ford in East Wenatchee. This one you won’t want to miss. I have arranged to have Austin Moser of Austins Northwest Adventures Guide Service there. He will be providing a very detailed presentation on how to catch the giant kokanee on Lake Roosevelt this winter. I fished with Austin several times last winter and we always caught limits. Also coming to give you his insights is Keith Jensen of Big Wally’s Guide Service. Keith has been fishing upper Rufus Woods Reservoir for years, catching big rainbow and walleye. This fishery is often overlooked and can provide excellent fishing in the winter. Both Austin and Keith will be at Town Ford on Wednesday, December 14th, and the seminars will begin at 6 p.m. These are the best fisheries ahead of this winter and if you want to take full advantage of them, be sure and be there to hear what these experts have to say.
