By Dave Graybill

Dozens of lakes are open in the Columbia National Wildlife Area. Walleye fishing is going great guns on Banks Lake and Potholes Reservoir. Kokanee fishing is very good on Lake Chelan, Palmer Lake and Lake Roosevelt. Anglers are even having success fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass on certain areas of the big reservoirs, too. Spring fishing is in full bloom here in Central Washington. April is a great month for anglers here, no matter what their preference may be. The challenge right now is deciding just where to go for the weekend. There are some really fun fishing derbies coming up later this month, and you can learn all about them by visiting my web site at FishingMagician.com. While you are there, click on the Fishing TV Page and you will find some great videos showing some of the better fishing that is going on in the spring, with some very helpful tips on how to rig up and what tackle to use. I am constantly thanked by anglers for the information that we impart in these videos. Take a look at them, I think you’ll agree.
