I had wanted to do a pre-spawn walleye fishing show on Banks Lake, and Saturday we made it happen. I picked up Eric Granstrom early last Saturday morning and we headed up to Coulee Playland to meet Austin Moser of Austins Northwest Adventures. He was willing to help us shoot some video on what it’s like to fish for walleye on Banks Lake before the spawning activity starts. We tried a couple of spots across from Coulee Playland and then ran down to see what was happening on Barker Flats. When we arrived we found a large fleet of boats fishing here. We went to work and although we had some dead times, we had a pretty busy early afternoon. The weather was great for the early season and I think we got a very show that will be available soon. To see if it is posted, go to FishingMagician dot com and click on the Fishing TV Page. This will take you to a page that shows which programs are available. We spent a good amount of time talking about what kinds of tackle to use and which baits were working, so it will be worth watching if you are new or even experienced in walleye fishing at Banks Lake.
