When I was in Moses Lake last week I wanted to run down to Potholes Reservoir and see what it looked like. I ran out of time but have since learned that the ice is off and there are anglers fishing for walleye on the reservoir. Last year my friends Brian Neilson and James Lebow took me, and we fished just off one of the bays in Lind Coulee. We had a pretty good day. We didn’t limit but we got a bunch of nice fish. A couple of years ago I did a short video with Shelby Ross, who has been a guide on Potholes for decades. If you search the Dave Graybill Channel on YouTube you can watch it. He gives people some good advice for early-season fishing on Potholes. I am also eager to find out if the work was completed on the ramp at the east end of the dam. This is the one to use until the water comes up and you can launch at the one on Lind Coulee on Road M. I have used this one in the past to fish Perch Point and Lind Coulee, but it was in sore need of improvement.
