For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. When I was a kid, Dad got us little mini-bikes to ride around the yard. You started them up with a pull cord and held on for dear life. Later, we graduated to motorcycles but nothing crazy. We had a Honda Trail 90 and a Suzuki 125. They were great for riding the powerline roads and getting me down to Sumner Lake to go fishing. My adult life has been void of any toys. I've gone on a few quad rides but never owned one myself. I spent part of the last two weekends riding around in a Honda side-by-side with my buddy Jimmy Grover and his wife Ann. It's a Pioneer 1,000 and boy was I impressed. There's room for four with fold-down seats in the back. The front seats are easily accessible and the thing is quiet as a mouse. The suspension and ride are so smooth you feel like you could be drinking champaign while going down rough trails. It also has a winch, which helped us extricate a deer from a deep ravine. Is it time to add a new toy to my arsenal? We shall see. Until next time, Good Fishing!
