By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. What is it about male pride that gets in our way so many times? Pride goeth before the fall? One of the hardest things to do for me is ask for help. This goes back to when I was a kid. If I was trying to do something and Mom or Dad asked if I needed help, the invariable answer was, "I can do it myself." Today, thanks to YouTube, I can pretty much figure out how to do anything by myself. However, if I get into trouble, I have to be better at asking for help. I have to admit I've never fished for Coho in the Icicle from shore before. I've been reading Dave's reports and seeing others having some success there and I thought it would be cool to give it a go myself. YouTube didn't come through for me here, so I turned to Dave. I texted him a week back and said, "can you help me learn the Icicle." The answer was a yes and that's what we're doing this morning. But for some reason, just simply asking put my stomach in knots. Ask and ye shall receive. Until next time, Good Memories!
