By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com I'm Eric Granstrom. The last thing I did before going to bed last night was take the garbage out. I was in shorts and a t-shirt and quickly realized that was not nearly enough clothing. Thankfully the jaunt to the trash can wasn't very far. But the rush of cool air filled my mind with visions of changing leaves, frosty mornings and being on top of a mountain at sunrise. I absolutely LOVE this time of year. To me there's nothing better than creeping through the pre-dawn darkness to a predetermined spot so wait for daylight. The quiet hush of the world on the brink of waking up that brings every sense alive. Searching the dim light for movement or catching the smell of a deer or elk on the slight breeze in your face. Memories flooding in like a rushing tide that bring back images of hunts and moments from long ago. Pushing away the stresses of a concrete existence if even for just a few days. Breathing air so cleansing it brings forth a cough of the staleness of the lowlands. Yes, fall is my fall into a world that I love. Until next time, Good Memories!
