For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. We were on the road by 5:34 Friday afternoon, headed for Lake Roosevelt. Marion and I pulled into Seven Bays Marina just before 9 o'clock, launched and headed the lake to anchor up for the night. It would be the first of three nights sleeping on the boat for the holiday weekend. Thankfully, Marion is a master packer and she'd situated three totes perfectly with what we'd need. One had clothes, another food and a third with our cooking supplies. We stocked a larger cooler with food that needed to be chilled and put our beverages in the front live well full of ice. We awakened to sunny skies Saturday morning. I was trying to remember tips given me by a Lake Roosevelt veteran and ran 25-minutes the wrong way to find a fishing hole. Once we turned around and headed back, half the morning was shot running around. We tried for walleye in Hawk Creek but just had several short-bites. We ran up lake Sunday and caught bass off Gerome Bay and finally found the walleye Monday off Columbia Camp Ground. I'll have more on camping on the boat Thursday. Until next time, Good Fishing!
