For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Marion loves to say "me and my bright ideas!" Which usually means she's hatched some sort of plan that will involve some heavy lifting on my part. The latest of which was our trip last weekend to camp on the boat on Lake Roosevelt for three days. I was excited for the chance to get some quality time away and do some walleye fishing, so I didn't really care how much work had to go into it. The "work" was really all about planning. The weekend before, we got in the boat inside the shop and mapped out our 18-foot space. I removed the captain's chair, knowing we'd need room for an air mattress. Instead, we brought folding chairs that could be stowed at night. We brought three action packers. One for clothes. One for food. And one for cooking supplies and utensils. We used the front live well to pack beverages and ice and brought one, large cooler with a combination of dry ice and cubed ice and whatever food we'd need for the three days. It worked out great, except for a hole in the air mattress. Until next time, Good Fishing!
