By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. First of all, thanks for all the feedback on whether you bleed your fish or not. Seems the overall sentiment is, no matter the species, bleeding fish make better table fair. I'm in! Secondly, it was a year ago that Marion and I were spending a great weekend fishing at Conconully in Okanogan County. If you haven't taken the opportunity to fish and visit here, you're missing the boat. Conconully has two lakes to fish and plenty of camping available. On the lower reservoir, there's a large State Park, Liar's Cove and Shady Pines Resorts. And, if you check online, there's quite a few places you can rent for the weekend in town if you don't want to tent or RV it. The upper lake is a much bigger body of water and has a small State Park available for camping and a paved launch. If you check out oyr Facebook page, you'll see a photo of me with a whopper kokanee I caught in the upper lake last year. It's filled with kokanee, rainbow and a ton of smallmouth bass. And, this time of year the surrounding hillsides are gorgeous. Until next time, Good Fishing!
