By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. My last report on Tuesday was a way of getting you to think about what to do if you're locked down for the winter months not fishing. But as Dave mentioned earlier this week, there are a lot of fishing opportunities still to be had in the region. And if you're into finding a good rainbow bite, now is the time to head out. A new plant of catchable-sized rainbow have been planted in Fish Lake and Roses Lake in Chelan County as well as Putters Pond in Douglas County at Rock Island. The fish will be hungry with cooling temperatures. In fact, if you're in for an adventure and a little travel, I just saw a post on Facebook yesterday of a lucky angler who limited on nice rainbow up off Roosevelt and the Spokane Arm. A word to the wise is bring layers of clothing and a heater. That reminds me, be sure you have the right propane heater if you're going to put it inside the cabin or covered portion of your boat. Dave and I fished Roosevelt in the winter with Shane Magnuson and the heater gave Shane carbon-monoxide poisoning. Until next time, Good Fishing!
