By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. The lowland lake opener in Washington had to wait a little more than a week. Now it's set to open on Tuesday. So where are you going? Are you taking a day off from work? I had a conference call the other day and the first question to me was "where you going Tuesday morning?" I was taken aback. "Tuesday? Oh yeah, FISHING opens!" Since the governor announced that fishing and hunting would reopen in Washington May 5th, I was actually torn about what to do. It's a work day for me, but it looks like I'll still be working from home. I get up at 4 a.m. to write and produce sports for our morning program on the TV station. I usually finish in a couple hours, which would give me a few hours after that and before I need to be ready to record sports for the evening news cast to go somewhere. That kind of a day trip for me would be a quick trip to Chelan. But, even closer is a great spot to hunt turkey. I think I'll do some scouting this weekend and probably hunt turkey. Until next time, Good Fishing!
