By Dave Graybill

I had a great time at Fish Camp last week. It is always fun to get together with all the writers, broadcasters and guides that gather each year at Peach Beach near Biggs on the Washington Oregon border. Ed Iman, who organizes the event did a great job of getting everyone out on the water and provide time for the product representatives that came. I got to fish with different groups of people for three days and brought home a good amount of fillets of fresh kings and a coho. I want to thank Mark Bush, of Twisted Waters Guide Service, Aaron Peterson of Petersons Northwest Guide Service, and Dave Eng of Daves Fisheng Guide Service for taking me out and getting me fish each day. All of the fishing took place off the mouth of the Deschutes River, on the main stem Columbia. Fishing will end here soon, and these upriver brights will be arriving at the Hanford Reach in just a few days. Anglers will be focusing on this stretch of the Columbia for the balance of the season. Fishing below Priest Rapids Dam will be improving dramatically. The daily limit for fall adults is one fish now on the Reach.
