My wife and I are traveling to Coeur ‘d Alene, Idaho for a family birthday celebration. I am taking the Kingfisher and plan on doing some fishing for kokanee, bass and maybe kings while we are there. To get prepared I got on-line and was able to get a fishing license. I also know that I will be stopping at an inspection station, where they will look for invasive weeds or zebra mussels. I hear I will also be getting a special sticker for the boat at this stop, too. Once we have jumped through these hoops to get a boat into Idaho, I will be looking for a boat launch close to the bay where we have rented a house for a couple of days. I have been to Coeur d’ Alene many times but have never taken the boat and tried the fishing. I hear that the kokanee fishing is terrific this time of year. I am also taking along the bass gear and even a few items that should work for the kings in the lake. I don’t know that I will have a lot of time to dedicate to fishing, but I plan on wetting a line as time allows. I will be picking the brain of the folks and Fin and Feathers in town to get some tips before I launch the boat.
