By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. As I cursed the weather gods while shoveling another four inches of snow off the driveway last night, I couldn't help but glance over the our new/old boat. The poor thing. Here it's been garaged its entire life and now I have it and it sits under a pitiful cover, buried in snow. I tried to gently remove all the snow from atop it but had to climb in to sack up the 20-pounds of snow that had gathered in the sagged portion of the cover. Once the dastardly white stuff was out, I couldn't help but stand there imagining being on the water fishing. I heard the powers that be are pumping water out of Lake Roosevelt into Banks Lake. This will be good news for anglers on Roosevelt as the fishing gets better and better the farther they draw the lake down. It's also a warning to those who have been ice fishing on Banks to watch out as they'll pump water each evening from 10pm to 5am each night through Sunday. That could cause the ice to become really unstable throughout Banks Lake, so be careful. Until next time, Good Fishing!
