For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. This is definitely my favorite time of year. Well, mostly because I'm on vacation. Isn't it amazing how hard you have to work the week before you go on vacation? You spend the first few days of your vacation just recovering from the mega-days you put in to be able to go. But the other reason this is my favorite time of year is because I get to go crabbing in Puget Sound. It's amazing when I mention I'm going crabbing how many orders I get from people telling me they want me to bring them crab when I get back! If you say you're going on vacation to Colorado, I don't ask, or TELL you to bring me back some Coors! It's a strange thing. But nonetheless, I'll hopefully have some extra upon my return that I can share the wealth with my co-workers. I have a few favorite spots and I'm hoping they produce once again. We'll spend the last half of our vacation in the Anacortes area, which is where I like to crab. The quickest spots is just inside Deception Pass on the north end of Whidbey Island.
