For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Well, I took my own advice. On Tuesday, I talked about how life happens while you're making other plans. And if you're not careful, that life could pass you by. I called Shane Magnuson and asked if he'd filled his vacancy to fish at Bonneville Dam Wednesday. He said "no" so I said Dad and I would be there first thing in the morning. It was a 4-and-a-half hour drive from my home in East Wenatchee to Cascade Locks where I met Dad. After a short night's sleep, we met Shane at the Hamilton Island Boat Ramp just upstream from Bonneville Dam. We ran all of 2-minutes and had rods in the water by 6:30. It wasn't 10-minutes before I landed a small jack. After two swings and misses by yours truly, I finally hooked into a nice little 10-pound Chinook. My rod hit another couple times before Dad hooked up. His was by far the biggest of the day at about 18-pounds. Shane still had a slot on his card to fill and we landed it by 10:30 and wrapped up. Check out the video on our Facebook page. Until next time, Good Fishing!
