By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It seemed like a good idea. Following our trip to Lake Roosevelt, we had some worms left over and Dad bought a Magic Worm Farm. It's a styrofoam box with bedding where the worms can stay and grow, as long as you feed them. He put it together and dumped our leftover worms in and reminded me to feed them as he headed back to Western Washington. I put it out in the garage, and promptly forgot. Two weeks had gone by when Marion went out to get something from the garage yesterday morning and found the lid on the box ajar and a trail of warms leading towards the door. There were three carcasses furthest from the box that perished along the journey. Two more nearest the box were still alive and kicking, which she tossed back into the box. For those on Facebook, you can see the photos of the jail-break attempt. Of course, my warped mind began writing the story. Red was the name of the leader in the box. He organized the others to help him lift the lid to allow the escape attempt. Oh the adventure! Until next time, Good fishing.
