By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It's hard to believe the final month of the year is already here. Marion and I are almost a year into having our new boat and have put in some great adventures over the past 12-months. Our inaugural trip was in March on Lake Chelan fishing kokanee. Next up was another trip to Chelan on Easter weekend. The Mariners were off to a hot start. The weather was getting better. And it was Apple Blossom time. Then it was off to Billy Clapp Lake for an amazing weekend of slamming some huge trout. The orange Rapala's got a workout that weekend and so did one of my kokanee rods. The remnants of the shattered spine are still hanging in my new rod rack I built in the garage. May took the bow of our adventure towards Conconully to catch some big kokanee. Following another trip to Chelan we pointed south and explored Cle Elum Lake. June passed into July with some surf fishing in between, and then a surprise salmon opener on the upper Columbia. Add Deep Lake, Rufus and Lake Roosevelt to the mix and it's been quite a year. Until next time, Good Fishing!
