The Brewster King Salmon Derby will be held August 5th, 6th and 7th and conditions are developing to make catching ideal. Over 30,000 kings have passed over Wells Dam and are swarming off the mouth of the mouth of the Okanogan River. The warm weather is heating up the Okanogan which stalls both the Chinook and sockeye salmon in the Brewster Pool.
