I had one spectacular week last week. I got to fish some great places and caught some great fish. I first fished Buffalo Lake with my buddy Rollie Schmitten. This lake is on the Colville Indian Reservation near Grand Coulee Dam. We caught small kokanee, rainbow to a couple of pounds and some dandy largemouth bass. On Friday I fished on Lake Chelan with the Anatatmula family. We fished just above Chelan Shores and put 17 kokanee in the cooler. They ranged in size from 11 to 16 inches, and we got them all on Kokabow Fishing Tackle blades and spinners. Josh Anatatmula and his cousin Ethan Sears reeled most all the fish and even netted them. We hardly lost any fish at the boat, which is very unusual. Good job kids. The next morning I was up at 2 a.m. to join Shane Magnuson and Dan Schleifers for a spring salmon trip on the Wenatchee. Eric Granstrom, of Gaboon Productions, was also along with his video camera. We caught some very nice springers and you will be able to catch the action on the Fishing TV Show on my web site very soon.
