For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. It's on the list. Oh the list! I'm sure you have that list. It's either the honey-do list, the grocery list, the shopping list, or just the list of things you'd like to eventually get to. Maybe it's a bucket list. On our list of things to do was to honor my Mom's wishes and spread some of her ashes in the San Juans near Strawberry Island. We scratched that off the list last Sunday thanks to the help of Chris King. Chris lives not far from my Dad and reached out through Facebook a while back, being a follower of the Fishing Magician. He shares a road that bears our name and curiosity caused him to reach out. I'd reached out to Chris since our saltwater boats are out of commission for the time being to help carry out Mom's wishes. We boarded Chris's beautiful Grady White Sunday morning at Washington Park in Anacortes for the short ride north to Strawberry Island. It was the spot Mom and Dad landed a big King back in the day and carried cherished memories throughout her life. Get on that list! It will lighten your heart, and your load.
