The repair work being done on the turbines at Rocky Reach Dam will occasionally affect river flows. The Chelan County PUD has announced that there will be an adjustment to the flow below Rocky Reach Dam now through February 11th. Anglers are advised that they should avoid the tailrace below the dam during this period. Also, the Chelan PUD has added a new feature to their web site. People can now learn the current lake levels at Lake Chelan. Just go to chelanpud.org and then click on Lake Levels and River Flows. You can also see a chart that describes the actual levels and the forecasted levels on Lake Chelan. I want to remind you that there are more sports shows coming up in our region. The next one is the Central Washington Sportsmen’s Show in Yakima on February 14th through 16th. The Wenatchee Valley Sportsmen’s Show will be held on February 21st through the 23rd. The new Tri-Cities Great Outdoor Expo is scheduled for March 1st and 2nd at the TRAC in Pasco. The 4th Tagged Trout Derby in Quincy will be on Saturday, March 1st this year. They are adding tagged prize fish to Quincy Lake this time.
