If you fish Banks Lake and stop at Big Wally’s for tackle and supplies, you know Rosie. Rosie has been a big part of the Big Wally’s tackle store for along time, and she is big on fishing at Banks. I think she fishes every day. In the summer she fishes for bass and walleye and in the winter she fishes for trout and perch. she makes those great maps of the lake, and she also makes some great walleye baits. On Saturday, September 20th she is going to share some of her expertise. Rosie will be holding at tying class at the store, starting at 10 a.m. She will show anyone who wants to stop by how to tie a double hook worm rig, How to build spinners for walleye and how to put squid on a spinner with beads and how to add a smile blade. She will also include instruction on how to tie some of the knots used to connect mono to super lines. If you want to catch more walleye, this would be a great session to attend. For more information, call Big Wally’s at 509-632-5504.
