When game and fish violations are observed it is a frustrating situation. What do you do? Just ignore it and wish there was something to do about it? Confront the individual and risk getting into a potentially uncomfortable position? The answer is attending the C.O.R.T. class being offered on September 17th. C.O.R.T. stands for Crime Observation Reporting Training, and it shows sportsmen how to properly deal with observed game and fish violations. These courses have been offered several times in our region the past year and they are always well attended. All true sportsmen are eager to follow the rules and this training shows them how to deal with those who choose not to. The class will be held at the Steel Workers Hall at 180 Rock Island Road in East Wenatchee, beginning at 7 p.m. The general hunting and fishing public that has attended these classes has been very successful in helping the WDFW enforcement officers in curbing poaching in the State of Washington. If you are interested in attending and have some questions, please contact Ron Poppe at 509-662-3957. You can be part of the solution to the poaching problem by taking this course.
