The biggest outdoor show in Eastern Washington opens its doors on Friday, January 24th and runs through the 26th. The Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show is in its 31st year and is held at the HAPO Center in Pasco. There will be a wide range of exhibitors at the show, with everything from hunting and fishing guide services and lodges to RVs and boats. Families always appreciate this show for the many activities it has for kids. These include a Fishing Pond, free air rifle range, bow and arrow balloon shooting and a scavenger hunt. The main attraction this year is Maasai, the famous African Lion from Working Wildlife and, I think for the first time, you can ride a mechanical bull at the show. There is always a full schedule of seminars throughout the weekend, fly tying demonstrations and much more. The show opens at noon on Friday and at 10 a.m. on Saturday. There will be free giveaways for the first 100 people that attend the event on Friday and Saturday. When you buy your ticket in Friday, it’s good for all three days, and kids under six years of age get in for free. It’s truly is fun for the whole family.
