By Eric Granstrom

For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Quick, what's the first thing you think about when you hear Pittsburgh? Probably the Steelers, right? Maybe the Pirates? Or how about the Penguins? The last thing most would think about is fishing. But last weekend while in Pittsburgh to work the Seahawks game, I took a long walk along the banks of the Allegheny River, dizzying myself gazing at all the bridges that crisscross throughout the city. According to the internet, there are 446-bridges in the "Steel City", the most of any city in the world. As I sauntered between Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field) where the Steelers play, and PNG Park where the Pirates play, I stumbled upon Amanda with Adventure Outdoors. Amanda was with some volunteers for Tri-Anglers, a group that has offered free fishing, lessons and gear to anyone young and old for 20-years along the three rivers in Pittsburgh. I told her about my work with FishingMagician.com and she coaxed me to grab a rod and fish. Three casts in I had a bite. I hung up on my 4th cast and broke their rod in half. Sheepishly, I returned the rod and thanked her. Until next time, Good Fishing!
