For FishingMagician.com, I'm Eric Granstrom. Dave invited me to go fishing with him a couple times over the past week at Lake Wenatchee for sockeye. The only problem with Dave and I fishing together is the decision of who writes about it afterwards. Honestly, I can't remember the last time we went fishing together without there being a "job" to do as well with cameras, filming, editing, etcetera. It was great to get out on the water and just relax and catch up on old times. Although Thursday's trip didn't allow for too much of that because we were too busy catching fish. We had two limits in about 90-minutes of fishing. Thursday's weather was cool, breezy and included a few passing showers. Much different conditions greeted us Sunday. Temperatures were up, the wind was dead, and the fish were finicky. We caught five and finally called it quits after helping another boater to the launch after their trolling motor died. We spotted them trying to paddle across the lake using their net. Which reminded me of something my Dad taught me long ago, always bring a paddle no matter the size of boat you're on. Until next time, Good Fishing!
